This summer some of Sweden’s top comedians take to the stage at Stockholm’s hottest outdoor club, Trädgården. Comedy Central’s new concept Comedy Central Confessions kicked off last Friday – and it was a huge success!
For four Fridays in July and August, you’ll be able to get high-class stand-up and guaranteed laughter at one of Stockholm’s most popular summer clubs – completely for free! The shows take place under the direction of Fredrik Andersson, who’s known for his participation in many popular Swedish comedy programs such as “Parlamentet” and “Roast på Berns”.
During last week’s premiere, Anton Flam from the successful podcast TSKNAS together with Evelyn Mok, “The Swedish Amy Schumer”, and the popular Norra Brunn profile and youtuber Henrik Nyblom took to the stage to a packed audience. In the coming Fridays we’ll also get to see Ahmed Berhan and Branne Pavlovic from the podcast BC Buddz, Petrina Solange who won Female Comic of the Year 2015 and the standup veteran Martin Soneby performing live.
– We take humor very seriously and the level of Swedish standup has never been better. To do this with some of the country’s best comedians in Stockholm’s by far most popular summer club is something we are really looking forward to, says Markus Wiklund Ferrer, Marketing Manager, Comedy Central in the Nordic region.
Comedy Central Confessions will be filmed and broadcast on the Comedy Central TV channel in September. The following comedians will appear in the coming weeks:

11/8: Petter Bristav, Petrina Solange, Isak Jansson och Josefin Sonck
18/8: Martin Soneby, Sandra Ilar och Ellinor Svensson
